Garcia rubbishes Gunners transfer talk

River Plate striker Radamel Falcao Garcia has moved to end speculation about a possible move to Arsenal by insisting his future lies in Argentina.

Garcia helped River win the Clausura tournament last month, and insists he would like to continue winning titles at Estadio Antonio Vespucio Liberti.

Last week, reports suggested the 22-year-old attacker would welcome a move to Emirates Stadium but he has rejected these rumours, insisting he hopes to stay and win the Copa Sudamericana.

He told Argentinean newspaper Ole: “I have new goals. I want to be the tournament’s top scorer and win a continental cup.

“I always said I wanted to play in the top flight for a long time. I want to stay at River, my home. I feel very comfortable here.”
