St Pat's go four clear after win over Cobh

Derek O'Brien made a scoring debut to put St Patrick's four points clear at the top of the Premier Division table.

In a poor match, Cobh might have taken the lead on the hour mark when central defender Kevin Murray headed wide from Ray Lally's corner.

St Pat's then struck for their winner five minutes later.

Damien Lynch's cross struck winger Ryan Guy to set up O'Brien, on as a half-time substitute, and he crashed the ball to the roof of the net for the only goal of a forgettable match.
