Flood extends Tannadice stay

Dundee United have confirmed Willo Flood will spend another season on loan at Tannadice from Cardiff.

During his loan spell on Tayside last season, the 23-year-old Irish midfielder helped United reach the CIS Insurance Cup final and achieve a top-five finish in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.

Flood, whose goal against St Mirren at Love Street was voted as the SPL’s goal of the season,’ will report for pre-season training with the rest of the squad on 4 July.
