Solskjaer set for Reds farewell

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will say a final farewell to Manchester United fans on August 2 when Espanyol visit Old Trafford for his testimonial.

Tickets go on sale today for a match which seems sure to attract large numbers given Solskjaer’s popularity among the Red Devils support.

The Norwegian was forced to retire last summer after failing to overcome long-term knee problems but is hoping to feature for up to half an hour in what will be the last game he ever plays.
