Pair pull out of Brazil squad
Brazil midfielders Anderson and Gilberto Silva have been withdrawn from the squad for the friendly international against Canada.
The Selecao face the Canadians on Saturday in Seattle, in a warm-up match ahead of the World Cup qualifiers.
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) revealed that Manchester United star Anderson and Arsenal’s Gilberto will not arrive in time to take part in the encounter.
However, the CBF did not state if the England-based pair will be available for the game with Venezuela on June 6 in Boston.
