Michael Ball has urged Manchester City owner Thaksin Shinawatra to stick with Sven-Goran Eriksson even though it is looking increasingly likely the former England boss will be replaced this summer.

Eriksson had talks with Thaksin over the weekend and though neither party has offered any public opinion, it seems that unless the former Thailand Prime Minister has a major change of heart, he will trigger a change of manager this summer.
