Crouch: I feared the worst

Peter Crouch admits he feared Liverpool were heading out of the Champions League as Arsenal struck late on in last night’s dramatic quarter-final at Anfield.

The England striker, a surprise inclusion in the Rafael Benitez’s line-up, had been substituted just six minutes before Emmanuel Adebayor’s late equaliser looked to have given the Gunners an away-goals triumph.
