Adebayor benched for Bolton game

Arsenal's top scorer Emmanuel Adebayor has dropped to the bench for his side's Premier League match at Bolton today.

The Togo striker, scorer of 23 goals this season, is replaced up front by Nicklas Bendtner as manager Arsene Wenger goes looking for his first league win at the Reebok Stadium in six years.

Wenger has also brought in Abou Diaby and Philip Senderos for Emmanuel Eboue (bench) and Bacary Sagna (ankle) as he makes three changes from the team beaten at Chelsea on Sunday.

Bolton boss Gary Megson has made two enforced changes; Jlloyd Samuel, on his 27th birthday, coming in for Ricardo Gardner (rib) and Gavin McCann replacing the suspended Kevin Nolan.

Ivan Campo captains the side in Nolan's absence, despite his show of petulance in being substituted in last weekend's goalless draw at home to Manchester City.
