Kaka denies Real interest
Kaka has restated his ties to AC Milan, claiming he has never spoken to Real Madrid about a move to the Bernabeu.
The world footballer of the year signed from Brazilian side Sao Paolo in 2003, and recently penned a contract extension to 2013 with the European champions.
âMilan changed my life,â Kaka told Spanish radio station Onda Cero.
âReal Madrid have never talked to me. They talked to my representative, who told them they would have to make a formal offer to Milan. If there had been agreement, we would have talked.
âI have always said that to leave Milan an agreement between the two presidents would have to be achieved. I feel good here, I am at home in the club and the city.â
In 2002 Kaka played a friendly at the Bernabeu while he was with Brazilian club Sao Paulo, however the Spanish champions did not make any attempts to sign him following the match.
âThe only offer was from Milan and it changed my life â I owe them for that,â he said.
âI wanted to play for a big team in Europe and Milan gave me this opportunity.â
Kaka also had reassuring words to say regarding injured compatriot Ronaldo believing he âwill return to play football,â while he also talked-up Ronaldinho after transfer speculation linked him to a summer move to Milan.
âIf he comes, he will be welcome,â said Kaka.
âHe is a great player.â
