Rangers boss Walter Smith must decide who leads the attack in tomorrow’s UEFA Cup last-16 second leg against Werder Bremen.

Daniel Cousin (broken jaw) and Jean-Claude Darcheville (Achilles) are out of the clash in Germany, while Lee McCulloch (thigh) is doubtful.

Smith could select Kris Boyd, Steven Naismith or Nacho Novo if McCulloch is ruled out, with Rangers likely to play just one frontman.

In defence Smith must choose between Sasa Papac and Steven Whittaker for the left-back role, while Kevin Thomson could challenge for a place in midfield.

Provisional squad: McGregor, Alexander, Broadfoot, Cuellar, Weir, Whittaker, Dailly, Burke, Novo, Ferguson, Davis, Adam, McCulloch, Boyd, Thomson, Naismith, Hemdani, Papac.
