Giggs set for green light

Ryan Giggs is expected to recover from a knock in time for Manchester United’s Premier League match against Newcastle tomorrow.

The Welsh winger suffered the slight injury in midweek during the 1-1 draw against Lyon in midweek.

Apart from Gary Neville and Mikael Silvestre, manager Alex Ferguson has a full-strength squad to call on.

He may decide to freshen things up with Carlos Tevez pushing for a place in the starting line-up after scoring the equaliser in France.
