Boro's O'Neil out of City clash

Middlesbrough midfielder Gary O’Neil is suspended for tomorrow’s FA Cup third round trip to Bristol City.

O’Neil is out after reaching five bookings for the season, while Mohamed Shawky has joined up with the Egypt squad ahead of the African Nations Cup.

Unsettled skipper George Boateng is not included in the squad, but defender David Wheater returns from illness.

Jonathan Woodgate (hamstring) and Tuncay Sanli (knee) are doubts and Jeremie Aliadiere (hamstring), Mido (groin) and Andrew Taylor (foot) remain on the sidelines.
