Beckham hopes to be part of Capello's England
David Beckham is keen to get the chance to work under his former Real Madrid manager Fabio Capello with England.
New England boss Capello dropped Beckham last season when it was announced the Englishman would be joining Los Angeles Galaxy.
Capello later relented, however, and midfielder Beckham went on to play a key role as Real won the Primera Liga title.
Beckham, speaking in a BBC Radio Two interview to be broadcast on Christmas Day, said: “Fabio is one of the managers players look up to and want to manage them. I hope I’ll be part of his plans.
“I think he is going to be great for the players and the England team.”
