SFA set to discuss McLeish approach

Alex McLeish’s future as Scotland manager is set to be decided tomorrow at Hampden.

The Scottish Football Association have called a board meeting for 11am and will discuss McLeish’s situation after turning down an initial approach from a Barclays Premier League club.

Board member Donnie MacIntyre confirmed to PA Sport the meeting, which he will attend, has been called.

SFA president George Peat will chair the meeting which could result in McLeish being given permission to hold talks with the interested club, who are thought to be Birmingham.
