Arsene Wenger does not expect Arsenal striker Eduardo da Silva to face a backlash from angry England fans after he helped end their Euro 2008 dream at Wembley.

The Brazilian-born Croatian marksman set up the second goal in the 3-2 win for Slaven Bilic’s men which led to the sacking of beleaguered national-team boss Steve McClaren yesterday.
