Grant rings the changes for Chelsea

Chelsea v Leicester

Chelsea made seven changes for the visit of Leicester in the Carling Cup at Stamford Bridge.

Petr Cech, Michael Essien, Didier Drogba, Mikel John Obi, Ricardo Carvalho, Joe Cole and Salomon Kalou were all missing from the side that demolished Manchester City in the Barclays Premier League.

Carlo Cudicini, Scott Sinclair, Andriy Shevchenko, Steve Sidwell, Claudio Pizarro, Tal Ben-Haim, and Shaun Wright-Phillips replaced them.

Leicester were without former Tottenham midfielder Stephen Clemence, who had a hamstring problem.
