Longford keep hopes of avoiding relegation alive
Longford Town 1 Waterford United 1
Patrick Sullivan earned Longford a vital point with a dramatic late equaliser to keep their hopes of avoiding relegation alive.
Right-back Sullivan struck right into the 90 minutes as Longford late pressure told.
Collecting a poor headed clearance, Sullivan hit a stunning low drive from all of 35-yards that flew into the far corner of Dean Delaney's net.
Blues started well and deserved their eight minutes lead when Robbie Hedderman's long throw came off the head of Town defender Ian Ryan to fall for Willy John Kiely who drilled home.
