Liverpool will have Jermaine Pennant back in their squad for Sunday’s home game with Spurs after the winger was forced to sit out the midweek Champions League defeat by Marseille because of suspension.
Boss Rafael Benitez also has a worry over the fitness of full-back Fabio Aurelio, who was taken off against the French side with a muscle problem.
