Chelsea captain John Terry suffered an injury scare in Chelsea’s home game against Fulham when he was taken off following a blow to the head.

Defender Terry required lengthy treatment in the first half at Stamford Bridge following a clash with Fulham’s Clinton Dempsey and the Chelsea skipper did not appear after the interval.

If the injury was confirmed as a broken cheekbone, it would rule the centre-half out for up to six weeks, which would see him miss the Euro 2008 qualifiers against Estonia and Russia next month.
