Blatter cagey about China's World Cup chances

FIFA president Sepp Blatter believes China has the ability to successfully hold a World Cup but stressed the decision as to where the 2018 event will be held there depends on whether the current system that is used to select the host is still in place.

FIFA president Sepp Blatter believes China has the ability to successfully hold a World Cup but stressed the decision as to where the 2018 event will be held there depends on whether the current system that is used to select the host is still in place.

Currently FIFA employ a rotation policy whereby continents take it in turns to host the World Cup meaning as it stands the North and Central American and Caribbean region is due to get the tournament in 2018.
