An own goal from Keith Gillespie a minute from time saw Northern Ireland suffer heartache against Iceland.

They had fought their way back into the game with David Healy cancelling out Armann Bjornsson’s opening goal from the penalty spot.

Gillespie, however, was left cursing his luck when he turned the ball into his own net under pressure from sub Eidur Gudjohnsen.
