Birmingham will give late fitness tests to striker Mikael Forssell and central defender Johan Djourou ahead of the Premier League clash with Derby at Pride Park.

Forssell, who has put a three-year knee injury nightmare behind him, had a problem with his calf during the home defeat to West Ham last weekend.

Djourou, on loan from Arsenal for the season, picked up an ankle injury in the previous game against Sunderland. Skipper Damien Johnson (hamstring), Martin Taylor (hernia) and Rafael Schmitz (Achilles) are all still ruled out.

Team (from): Doyle, Parnaby, Ridgewell, Jaidi, Kelly, Larsson, Muamba, Nafti, Kapo, O’Connor, Forssell, Sadler, Jerome, McSheffrey, Maik Taylor, Vine, Djourou.
