Hoops look to stay in touch with title challengers

Shamrock Rovers will be hoping to stay in touch at the top of the table as they travel to the Showgrounds to face Sligo Rovers tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

Raffaele Cretaro is missing for the home side through suspension and Tommy Arcaba is ruled out through injury.

There are also doubts over Brian Cash and Jamie McKenzie who will both face later fitness tests ahead of tonight’s clash.

Long-term casualties Paul Shiels and Aidan Price remain sidelined for the Hoops, as does reserve goalkeeper Stephen O'Brien.

"It's the same as it was before last Monday's game against St Pat's," said Hoops boss Pat Scully. "Everyone's coming through, slowly but surely – which is good."
