Longford host UCD

Bottom side Longford Town entertain UCD in tonight's eircom League of Ireland Premier Division clash at Flancare Park, kick-off 7.45pm.

Daire Doyle has been ruled out for Town as they look to close the gap on fellow strugglers Waterford United and Galway United.

Mark Rutherford will also likely to miss tonight's clash, the midfielder may be out for another six weeks.

UCD will be buoyed by their performance against Shamrock Rovers even tough the Students came away from Tolka Park with a 2-0 defeat.

Boss Pete Mahon will have to plan without Paul Byrne and Shane Fitzgerald, while Paul Crowley returns from suspension.

"I know Longford are rooted to the bottom of the table but they have some decent players. It's only a matter of time until they win a game but I hope they postpone it for one more week," said Mahon.
