Bridge blow for Chelsea

Chelsea left-back Wayne Bridge looks certain to miss the start of the Premier League season after undergoing hip surgery in the United States.

The Blues are on tour in America and after training alongside his team-mates in Los Angeles, Bridge was referred to a specialist who recommended an operation.
