Aberdeen skipper in Sunderland talks
Aberdeen captain Russell Anderson is holding talks with Sunderland, according to his agent.
The Scotland defender, 28, and his representative Blair Morgan headed south of the border to thrash out a move after a fee, reported to be £1m, was agreed with the Dons.
North east rivals Middlesbrough had also been linked with Anderson but Black Cats boss Roy Keane now looks more likely to land the centre-half.
Morgan told the Scottish Sun: “Russell has been given permission to talk to Sunderland.
“We are here for those meetings and we will see how it all progresses.”
