Win moves Sligo further up the table

Superbly taken goals from captain Adam Hughes and Matt Judge earned Sligo a third win on the spin to move them up to sixth place in the table.

Hughes struck for the opener on 48 minutes, confidently shooting home after great work by Chris Turner and Judge set him up.

Judge then ran half the length of the field onto Turner's flicked header on 75 minutes to round keeper Matt Gregg and a defender or two before shooting home a brilliantly-taken second to give Sligo their first league win at Belfield since 1982.
