Wenger resigned to FA punishment

Arsene Wenger knows there is little he can do but accept whatever punishment the Football Association hand out for perceived misdemeanours – yet will continue to fight Arsenal’s corner when he believes the cause is just.

The Gunners, along with Chelsea, were hit with a £100,000 fine for the melee which marred the end of the Carling Cup final at the Millennium Stadium.
