Paisley secures release

Before a ball is kicked in Flancare Park this season, Longford Town are already in the headlines after losing defender Stephen Paisley, who has secured a release in his contract.

St Patrick's Athletic are the visitors to Flancare on Saturday (kick-off 7.30pm) and coincidentally it may be Richmond Park where Paisley ends up playing his football this season although Derry City and Bohemians are also interested.
