Blades transfer kitty set to boost

Sheffield United shareholders are expected to approve a resolution at an EGM tomorrow that will raise £5m (€7.45m) for boss Neil Warnock to spend in the transfer window.

The Blades plan to raise £10m (€14.9m) overall via the proposed issue of convertible loan notes, with Warnock handed a 50% share.
