Aaron Lennon’s knee inflammation means he remains a doubt for Tottenham’s Carling Cup quarter-final against Southend at White Hart Lane.

Hossam Ghaly took a knock to his thigh against Manchester City and will need a late check, while Robbie Keane (knee) and Jermaine Jenas (ankle) are ruled out.
