Just two weeks after securing a third Irish League title, Pat Fenlon has this afternoon stepped down as manager of Shelbourne.

The manager previously hinted this year would be his last in charge.

He has also complained about the state of affairs at the Tolka Park club off-the-pitch.

In a statement, CEO Ollie Byrne said everyone at the club wanted to wish Fenlon all the best in his future career.

He has already being linked with the vacant position at Derry.

Meanwhile, City coach Declan Devine is to leave the FAI Cup winners to link up with manager Stephen Kenny at Dunfermline.

There may also be further exits from the Brandywell as several players are out of contract.
