Shels-Bohs will not be replayed - Arbitrator

An arbitrator appointed by the FAI has ruled that the controversial Eircom League Premier Division match between Shelbourne and Bohemians should not be replayed.

Barrister Michael Collins has decided that the league's original decision that Bohs be deducted three points should stand, but no replay should take place.

Bohs were handed the penalty for fielding Jason McGuinness during the match in August while he was under suspension.

Shels had sought to be awarded the three points or a replay and the FAI later decided that a replay should be held, however that decision has now been overturned.
