Barry back in training

Aston Villa skipper Gareth Barry has returned to training only 36 hours after suffering what appeared to be a serious back injury in Wednesday’s Carling Cup tie at Chelsea.

Barry did not reappear for the second half of Villa’s 4-0 defeat and there were initial fears he could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
