All change for Spurs

Tottenham made nine changes to their starting line-up for today’s Barclays Premiership clash at Watford.

Only Tom Huddlestone and Hossam Ghaly were retained from the XI that started the midweek Carling Cup win at Milton Keynes Dons, as goalkeeper Paul Robinson, defenders Ledley King and Michael Dawson, midfielders Aaron Lennon and Jermaine Jenas and forwards Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov were restored.

Jermain Defoe was left on the bench for Spurs against a Watford side showing just one change from their Carling Cup victory over Hull. Tommy Smith returned to the team as forward Tamas Priskin dropped to the bench.

Watford: Foster, Doyley, DeMerit, Shittu, Stewart, Smith, Mahon, Francis, Bouazza, Henderson, Young. Subs: Lee, Mackay, Powell, Bangura, Priskin.

Tottenham: Robinson, Chimbonda, Zokora, King, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Jenas, Huddlestone, Ghaly, Keane, Berbatov. Subs: Cerny, Davids, Murphy, Defoe, Gardner.
