Joe Cole has fired an ominous warning to Chelsea’s rivals by claiming the best is yet to come from Jose Mourinho’s new-look team.

Cole is fit again after three months battling with a knee injury and hopes to start his first game of the season in tomorrow’s Carling Cup tie at Blackburn.
