Kuyt injury scare for Reds

Dirk Kuyt has given Liverpool an injury scare after lasting only 16 minutes of Holland’s European Championship qualifier in Bulgaria.

The Reds’ summer signing from Feyenoord limped out of the 1-1 draw in Sofia with an ankle injury and head coach Marco van Basten is not optimistic of him being fit for Wednesday’s match with Albania.
