Controversial Camara strike gives Wigan the lead

Henri Camara scored the 13th goal of his Wigan career to give the Latics the half-time lead against Watford at the JJB Stadium.

The Senegal international striker’s first this season appeared to be controversial when assistant official Andy Halliday flagged for offside.

But referee Rob Styles confirmed the 29th-minute strike was a good one, with replays confirming the Hampshire officials’ judgement correct.
