Pardew puzzled as Hammers continue to struggle

West Ham manager Alan Pardew has no idea what his best team looks like following the 2-0 home defeat by Newcastle.

The setback, courtesy of second-half strikes from Newcastle’s new signings Damien Duff and Obafemi Martins, was the Hammers’ third disappointment in front of their own fans in a week – after a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa and a 1-0 UEFA Cup loss to Palermo.
