Quinn ‘70-30’ to step down as Sunderland manager
Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn said tonight that there is a “70-30” chance he will pass over the managerial reins to a “world-class manager” before the clash with West Brom on Monday.
The Black Cats have lost all five games this season despite Quinn leading a successful takeover in the summer, John Fitzgerald and Andy Bishop scoring late goals for the Football League’s bottom club to knock them out of the Carling Cup.
