New boys in line for Toffees bows

Everton should have all their close-season signings on show for the Barclays Premiership opener at home to Watford.

Striker Andrew Johnson, defender Joleon Lescott and on-loan goalkeeper Tim Howard are all expected to start – but full-back Tony Hibbert is recovering from illness and will miss out.
