The 2006/07 Barclays Premiership kicks off on Setanta Sports television on Saturday August 19 when the Irish sports channel will broadcast live coverage of Arsenal’s opening day game against Aston Villa.

This season Setanta Sports will feature a live premiership game almost every second Saturday.

The channel will broadcast three Liverpool matches as well as three Chelsea games before Christmas, while Manchester United will be in action twice.

The line-up for upcoming live Premiership games on Setanta Sports is as follows:

Saturday August 19th: Arsenal v Aston Villa

Saturday September 9th: Chelsea v Charlton Athletic

Saturday September 23rd: Fulham v Chelsea

Saturday October 14th: Liverpool v Blackburn Rovers

Saturday October 28th: Bolton Wanderers v Manchester United

Saturday November 11th: Chelsea v Watford

Saturday November 25th: Liverpool v Manchester City

Saturday December 9th: Liverpool v Fulham

Saturday December 23rd: Aston Villa v Manchester United

Setanta Sports Premiership coverage will continue next season when the channel will broadcast at least 76 live games, beginning in August 2007.
