Further setback for Wembley

Wembley may not host next season’s FA Cup final as planned after Australian construction firm Multiplex revealed completion of the stadium could be delayed until June next year.

The stadium was due to open at the beginning of the year but Multiplex announced a series of delays, forcing the Football Association to keep the FA Cup final at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium and arrange England fixtures at Old Trafford.
