Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez accepts signing Jermaine Pennant is a “risk” and that the £6.7m (€9.8m) winger has been given his last chance at a big club.
Pennant joined from Birmingham yesterday and is now at the club’s training camp in Switzerland, preparing for a likely debut against Kaiserslautern in Liechtenstein on Saturday.
