Marseille confirm Cisse deal

Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse has joined Marseille on a one-year-loan with view on a permanent move, the French club have confirmed.

The 24-year-old forward was called up by coach Raymond Domenech to take part to the World Cup in Germany but was forced to stay at home after breaking his right leg during France’s 3-1 win in a friendly against China on June 7.
