Petrov flies out with Celtic
Celtic flew to America today with Stilian Petrov in their party despite more uncertainty over his future.
Portsmouth are believed to be lining up a second bid for the 27-year-old midfielder.
But the Bulgarian international joined manager Gordon Strachan and the rest of his team-mates as they embarked on their pre-season tour of America.
A Celtic spokesperson said: “He is coming with us. Nothing has changed regarding his moving at the moment.”
But the club‘s longest-serving player is still desperate for a move to the Barclays Premiership as agent Tony McGill prepared for more talks with chief executive Peter Lawwell.
