Up to 100 England fans were arrested overnight in the World Cup city of Stuttgart after trouble flared with other supporters and the police.

Up to 100 England fans were arrested overnight in the World Cup city of Stuttgart after trouble flared with other supporters and the police.

A German police spokesman said 100 were held in the incident in one of the city’s main squares but British authorities assisting the Germans put the figure at 80.
