Togo talisman Emmanuel Adebayor insists the African side will be going all out for a win when they face Switzerland in Dortmund on Monday.

After suffering a 2-1 defeat in their World Cup debut against South Korea on Tuesday, Togo prop up Group G – but there is still all to play for with two matches remaining.

However, Arsenal striker Adebayor is well aware of the need for three points against the Swiss.

“We have to score and we will play to win.” said Adebayor.

The 22-year-old striker scored 10 goals in qualifying to fire the African nation into their first World Cup finals, but he insisted Togo are not a one-man team.

“They need me like I need them,” he said. “We are a team. We have to work together and for each other. In the first match (against South Korea) we did that very well.”
