Walcott fit to train

Theo Walcott joined his England team mates as they reported for training today at their World Cup base in Buhlertal.

Walcott, 17, limped out of training on Sunday after taking a kick on the calf from Wayne Rooney but he was passed fit to start today’s session.

Sven-Goran Eriksson had a full complement of 23 players on the training pitch as he prepared for Thursday’s game against Trinidad and Tobago.

It was England’s final practice before heading to Nuremberg for the Group B clash.
