Murray keen on Black Cats sale to Quinn

Sunderland chairman Bob Murray has revealed he would like nothing more than to sell the club to Niall Quinn.

The 39-year-old former Republic of Ireland international striker has backing from a consortium of Irish investors and a takeover of the club – relegated from the Barclays Premiership earlier this month – looks likely.
